Why does this song give you courage?
It’s a catchy tune that’s fun to sing with the windows down, but it also signifies how much I’ve grown and become braver. It reminds me to be bold in sharing God's truth with love and to seek more of His strength over fear as I continue this wild road of life. I also want to empower others to embrace their own bravery. Show me how big your brave is!
What did you learn about Barbara?
I learned that we’ve had some very similar and challenging experiences, and we’ve both emerged stronger through our faith in God. Hearing her ‘survival stories’ has helped me more than she knows.

Barbara could have her own television show, teaching culinary secrets, bargain hunting, decorating, and gardening! She’s always coming around the corner with a new tasty dish she’s prepared, accompanied by a big smile. Barbara always looks beautiful, thanks to her knack for finding the best deals. Her apartment and garden are filled with beautiful and unique items. She’s a gift to everyone who knows her, creating cards and delivering hugs at just the right time.
Why does this song give you courage?
The storms in the song remind me of my late husband, who had a short fuse, and how God always helped me through those times. The lyrics about someone walking away resonate with me, reflecting the pain of when my daughter and granddaughters chose to stop speaking to me. I've also lost two sons, but God has been a source of strength through all these losses. My faith in the Lord keeps me going, trusting that He knows the reasons and will guide me. Despite the challenges, I pour my heart into praying, loving, and living anyway.
What did you learn about Shannon?
She has faced some similar challenges to mine, and we’ve both emerged stronger. I’m grateful for my health and happiness and for this time to live freely without fear. I want to continue sharing and helping my friend Shannon in this same way.
